Yeah... It's a money pit.
My current attention seekers are helmet, and front fork seals :(
I'd go with the fork seals if you already have a lid.
That's my thing ;)
Sorry :(
vokof - i gotz new gloves as well :D
Pics, noob. :D
geezus, how difficult is it putting a helmet back together again.... a swear it's easier folding a tent back up and getting it into the original bag
You installed the blouteef? Post a pic when you're done, want to see.

bakore ftl

that's the fukkin' thing... I've got fukkin' tiny ears.... and they are like racing models... not bak at all. can't even bend them forward... dit maak seer!!!

I think the thing is my helmet is too tight. so this little extra thing in there... is just in the way...

I just ripped the whole besigheid out... ek vokken breek hierdie *** nog vanaand.

My latest pair of gloves are also starting to get holey.
And they aren't even that old. Barely had them for a year.

What brand?

Did you go cheap in the first place?

I learnt ages ago that these are the things you spend the good money on as they work the hardest of all the gear.

All put together... but when i put the helmet on.... the freakin' earphones hurts my ears... que!? i must've done something wrong :(

Yeah you bought a ****ty cheap helmet in the first place.

That's why you are struggling and it doesn't fit properly.

Does it at least have removable ear cups where the speakers should go? And did you remove them?

It is a bit of a pain even with a lid that fully supports it. Of course if you buy the official version from the helmet manufacturer it's much simpler but way more expensive for no good reason.

BMW Bluetooth module is R5000! The Shoei one for my lid isn't far behind.

Yeah. El-cheapo summer gloves. (Rospa). But then... I've also used up a pair of Richa T-Pro's... Soos in, op gebruik! And those are not cheap, neither are they cheaply made. Gloves don't last with me, I'm afraid.

My shark S700 doesn't have removable ear cups :/
But, it's not too uncomfortable. Just fits with the spirit earphones.

Unfortunately the more summery synthetic ones don't last and normally split at the seams where the materials are different.

Full leather gauntlets last but are also warmer so it's a catch twenty two.

I had some Arlen Ness full race gloves that lasted for years.

The Frank Thomas synthetic ones after that hardly survived two seasons.

Now I'm on some RST's after taking (cheap) Alphinestars back just a week after buying them and they were falling apart.

One day I'll have those Knox Handroids purely to get rid of the silly Velcro.

Yeah it's usually the ones that have official Bluetooth support that have it.

Some are designed to be a bit more shallow in that area already.

Seems like I have resilved it it. Kinda. The hurting is down to a minimal.

My helmet got little pockets to place them, but it really doesn't help much. I almost need to remove some of the material that goes over the foam, to place them deeper in those recesses...

Shouldn't it be right on that white round cut out? Or did you move it behind the padding on purpose?

*****

Actually the fact those round cut outs are there makes me think the speaker is supposed to slide in behind that maybe?

The white is an indicator where the hole is behind it in the foam. But the material is glued to the foam. So I don't know...

As above
