Hey people. I've got a friend who's looking to get into riding.

He can get a Hyosung gt650r 2014 model with 10k km for R35k.

What do you guys think about the Hyosung as entry level.

Huh, I'm not in Randburg.....where is that? Although, my local traffic department also had problems with their equipment. I passed out March last year. Could've passed out the previous year, but put it off for too long. When I realized there is only a few weeks left on my license, the equipment was faulty and I couldn't pass out. Had to re-write the learners, for the how many-eth time.

Well if he has ridden a 250/300 before and is comfortable with it in traffic then 650 shouldn't be a problem. I'm sure somebody will differ with me though :p

Well from what I've checked after doing my learner's, the riding schools offer exactly that. You practice on their bike and then you can do the exam on that very bike you've been training on. It would seem a no brainer if you don't already have your own bike that you're comfortable on.
