I know that man, but if you have ever driven that piece of highway in peak traffic, you will have seen many, many bikes in that "lane". It is a smooth, clean, wide stretch of tar which definitely suits a bike.

Until th one day is not smooth or clean or an impatient or in trouble car decides to swerve into it. You'll understand why the call it the suicide lane then.

Either way, you've thoroughly missed the point which was in relation to the motorcycles the cops use, and its presence in the illegal lane.

I have ridden there, yes- by there I mean that stretch of highway, not the shoulder lane. And no, I didn't miss the point, I just said it's one of my personal pet peeves. "People" includes metro cops (one might say especially metro cops...)

I wasn't trying to start an argument, just stating my opinion.

What do you guys think? Just got a specials email from bike tyre warehouse, seems like a good price, quick read on revzilla and people seem to like the tyre.

They are mostly in Lexus IS-F’s now.

Had too many crashes and crap on bikes I reckon.

I still see one around Kuilsriver regularly.

Just bought Oxford grips from linex. They dont fit.
Handlebars are 22mm grips are 25

And when I got back there, they were closed.
More research shows that the sport grips would have worked, I bought the cruiser grips cos it says "Now fits honda" and the guy there assured me they would work.

Yeah I know.
But to be fair there were loads of Hondas and Harleys and triumphs parked there... They sell generic stuff not just Yamaha.

And even among Yamaha alone you’ll get different bar widths across different models as with other manufacturers.

Clipons vs bars for instance will almost always differ.
