Subject to the provisions of regulation 170(1), 171(1), 172, 175 or 176, no person shall operate on a public road a motor vehicle which is fitted with or carries on it a lamp which –
a) except in the case of a brake anti-lock warning light to the front of a trailer, emits a light which is not white, amber or yellow in colour towards the front;
b) emits a light which is not yellow or amber in colour towards either side of the motor vehicle; or
c) except in the case of a direction indicator or reversing lamp complying with the provisions of these regulations, emits a light which is not red in colour towards the rear.

Triumph are doing this all over America pulling their bikes out of “multi brand” shops.
Wouldn’t surprise me if it’s the same idea here.

Doubt it will happen here - Traditional is a Triumph only shop. 4ways is multi brand (all KMSA brands) & the store is owned by KMSA, so very unlikely they will pull one of their brands out.

Well in Cape Town they haven’t pulled out but have enforced some serious shop branding to make it clear which is the Triumph side and which isn’t.

He wanted to get a smaller shorty akro. He said he wanted it loud. I think it is loud enough. It only has about 3000kms on it. Has a few scratches on the guard but actual exhaust is good condition. Paid 40% of the new price.

Couldn't afford an akrapov for the Versys when the Arata pipe blew open ( mixture too lean)
So I put the new Italian Spark GP on and damn it's so deep throaty loud I don't need to take out the baffles
It's also so affordable direct from the Agent - but because I use a power commander I had to
Pay for a map and tune plus the pipe had to be fitted so all in for a slip on it cost
7k but the quality is amazing . The company makes pipes for Lamborghini and same pipes were
On the Saffers bike winning the moto GP in Spain . Agent is local works from home.

. I have a large amount of disdain for a failed campaign who's sole purpose/existence is now to babysit cyclists & the odd mass ride. It has become a dismal failure through lack of leadership. IMHO naturally.Still, your headlines would rival Kev's! :crylaugh:
Same at 4ways. I think it's also more to do with brand image, and the Traditional premises are old & outdated - ie: the building itself (compared to modern standards). It would be a crying shame if Traditional closed, I really cannot see it happening. They are a fantastic family with huge passion for the brand & the bikes & have done a lot to grow the brand in Jozi.

Don't care much for their movement but if it saves a life I guess it was worth it. Their forum is ****ing depressing though - 50% of the posts are about a bike accident that happened followed by the soul grating "strongs" replies.
Maybe I'm just getting old

I feel you. I am also a forum member and just log in to see what's happening. It also becomes a whiny-bin from time to time. I think that in this day and age, social media seems to be that layer that people use to arrange meets and ride-outs. I commute by bike every day, so for me riding out on the weekend is more to actually stretch the 'bikes legs' a bit, rather than the 20-80km/h lane splitting. That said, I don't push more than 160km/h (still reckless, but I still like to maintain a decent stopping distance

I used to be on the board & was an admin on the forum. I was a strong proponent of training, training & more training. Unfortunately the vast majority of people (all people, not just those on TB forum) couldn't really care about improving their skills. I think the last time I was near the forum or had any involvement was around 2012 sometime. I got gatvol of babysitting people on bicycles, especially when most of them are rude & arrogant fu$ckers.
I have no issue with speeding on the bike. We are all responsible for our own actions, let people be & let them do it in as safe & responsible place/manner that they can if it is on public roads. 160 is a doddle in reality - the R1 does that in first gear......
