Why not use the big white space adjoining the two lead headers for the next 2 headers. Or is that space for sale?

This is on Firefox 19.0.

Did you zoom in or out? Can you please hit Ctrl 0 to reset your browser zoom and see if it still exists?

I like the new look :) But the old look was good too. But was this a change for changes' sake?

it looks good, but not practical. I can't see much without having to scroll down or sideways.

Think I'll change my bookmark from myadsl.co.za to the forums instead :D

Dont like.

No clear distinction between section or even its content, and some excessive scrolling downwards just to get to some sections.

Old school was better.

I'm in favour of keeping it. It's growing on me. Some of the headings are a little big, but I really like the ability to click on comments and forum debate alongside the articles.

I see a few changes have been made. It's improving, but still needs work. Seriously RPM et al, why not keep the sub-sections horizontal rather than vertical (rows not columns)? It's much easier to read.

For example, I'd like to glance at all the headings in "General Tech News", then scroll down a little to glance at all the headings in "Business News"; rather than have them both next to each other, so I have to read the first coupla "General Tech", then the first coupla "Business" (which are next to each other and taking up the whole viewable area); scroll down a little - read the next coupla "General Tech"; then the next coupla "Business", rinse and repeat.

+1000000 rpm did say that they are taking notes and the majority of people clearly dont like the new interface so why are we not back to the old or atleast given a choice to simply change forum style.Should be easy enough?

This new interface is still hurting my usability even though I've gotten used to the looks and time wont make it more usable.

This is actually the single biggest issue with the new look.It NEEDS to be horizontal instead of vertical if its to work at all on our modern widescreens.

Second biggest issue is the number of articles that can be seen when you just open up the site.I see they've somewhat resolved that by moving the ad that was on top of "quick news" so now at least we can see 8 items, still not as much as previously but much better than the first attempt at a new look.

Why is there "Comment" and "Forum debate" links. Why split the comments?
There is not a good bridge between the two system which we can use. Also - some people use the news section only, and Disqus therefore creates a good platform for them to comment.

Been wondering about that for a while myself. Thanks for clearing it up. I assume most of us still use the forums then?

Do not like the change, one iota.

In other words : leave well enough alone
to allow something to stay as it is because doing more would not improve it

Specifically, regarding this article, why use a pic of an unrelated BMW (left hand drive & foreign number plate) ?
http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/content.php/6376-BMW-driver-caught-at-211-km-h#comments
.. and, what's the point of that Police.jpg ?
Suppose you could also use it for the Oscar P. articles - that's how generalised it is.

I must say, reading two different things at the same time is driving me crazy. (on the main page - left column, right column, left column, right column - one heading from each section, alternating). It's actually nonsensical. Our written language goes left to right, not top to bottom guys.

Not sure that makes sense. Just remove the one link and direct traffic to the forum. Splitting comments seems counter productive to me.
