Hi folks

I think we solved most of the problems with the website upgrades (which are obviously ongoing), but if you discover any new bugs or have suggestions please let us know by posting in this thread. This applies for the whole of MyBroadband (News, Forum, Classifieds, Photos, Jobs), not only the forum :)
 
Add a "like" button so you can like a post.
Also have an attach file option when posting.
 
Make article links on the mobile forum link to the mobile news site rather than the main site.

Fix the "Top" button in Firefox.
 
Sticky the forum rules somewhere please. I can never find them even with searching.

Link that auto opens email app (similar to a mailto:) and adds URL linkie ;-):confused:
 
I was on my phone yesterday, and if I reply to a thread I can't see my reply, even though it shows that I'm the last person to post. Or it might be my crappy browser on my phone, but I doubt it.
 
"Quick Search" please, having to go into "Advanced Search" everytime to do a simple search is not nice :(. Just a simple box up there where i can type and get thread topics related to it with default priority being relevance > last posting date > etc etc.

If it's an issue with the load caused by searches, then maybe let Google do it by adding their component in here somewhere [setting it up to search this site specifically without me having to manually do a "site:mybroadband.co.za"] .

Advanced Search itself is also not exactly working when using the "Search Multiple Content Types" ...it just doesn't seem to work.

I HATE the "like" feature and I'm damn well irratated at the SEARCH FUNCTION - it doesn't work rpm.

If you search for something, say, SEX - it finds threads about The_Lib being gay.

That's how screwed up the search function is!
 
Had some glitchy behaviour w/ the quote multiple button. Where it remembers some I selected earlier (viewed, selected some then close thread) or refuses to add more or just to the reply-advanced window with zero quotes. Haven't seen that in last 2 days though so maybe its fixed now.

Some unrelated issues & wishlist:

Also, could we push up the pic file size limit a bit maybe. Like 250kb?

Maybe enabled [ IMG ] on a few more subforums? As far as I can tell nobody has been abusing it really on the subforums where it is enabled.

Maybe also a pool/frequency analysis of which smilies should be accessible via right hand menu & which are under [More.]

Nasty black bar at the bottom of the photos album page?

Oh and thanks for adding "subscribed threads" to the Forum Quicklinks section.:)

Somewhat OT:
Some mod has also been ninja editing my photo titles. This one I can see why it was edited 'Cake' -> 'Cake & Boobs'. But wth is up with the edit on this one: "Nice Things" -> "Nice Things - Angry cat":confused: I don't really have a major issue with it but can't we at least get a "Edited by MrMod" message or something like we get with posts? Cause it feels like a glitch in the matrix when memory & reality don't align.:wtf:
