N300 internet light completely off

Hi I have a netgear n300 from telkom thats maybe 2 months old. All of a sudden this morning my internet light went off and have not been able to connect since. Have even done factory reset and re entered my details and even loaded my backup config. I have searched the manual for the router as well and it says nothing about the light being off. Does anyone know whythis is happening. Have contacted telkom and billing is up to date and active and tech said all is fine their side. They are trying to send a techie to fix but I cant wait so long in the dark ages. Please help me gurus
 
Try getting another router to test the line, what area are you in?
 
Thanks but Unfortunately that is not possible. Im new here and dont know anyone. Im in bellairs drive northriding
 
Are you sure the light isn't even a little bit on?
 
Nope :( maybe try giving Telkom a shout if the Internet light is off it generally means the line has issues.
