NAG Magazine ... Aug 2008 ???

I was wondering why this months NAG mag is late....

Called tidemedia and they advised that it will be out on the 31 July 2008.

In case there are others like me waiting for their next dose of NAG.

I have a friend who has purchased EVERY SINGLE NAG for the last 4 years or something rediculous lol....I tell you what, it saves him a hell of alot of bandwith not having to ever download service packs, updates, maps or patches :)
 
How does one subscribe to nag? all I find is an email but I would like to know the costs.
 
I'm also waiting. Finished reading the PC Format. Bought SACM for the first time just to help pass the time.
 
Check the NAG mag, usually on one of the last few pages. They have a subsription form and price there.
I'm going to make a promise to myself that i WILL buy the August NAG, and I WILL read it. Cool BDay gift hey?

I stopped buying all magazines completely. Just can't afford it anymore. Esp. the overseas mags. Flipping rip-off! In most cases they cost twice the cover price in South Africa.
 
I won a 6month SACM (Sa computer magazine) subscription from myadsl a few months ago.

I don't check post regularly as it is a mission where I live, but if you want to read a top quality magazine, then get SACM.

NAG and PCF sucks compared to SACM IMO ;) :D :p You WON'T find many game reviews, if you're a gamer, but their content is pretty good.

The patches and updates in the NAG mag are great. I store all the patches and updates on my spare HDD - works out beautifully (cos I always end up loosing the DVD).
 
I'll buy NåG, PCFormat and SACM just to read on the train on the way to work.

I wish NåG would but the DVD contents on the sleeve. I recently upgraded my PC and finally could dig my Crysis DVD out from under the bed, but it was a mission to get the patches from the DVD's as I had to find every magazine from the last 12 months (which where in all different places in the room), find out what is on that months DVD, match the DVD's up to the magazine and then install. Took almost an hour to get the 2 patches and Natural mod. Rant over.
 
/me has NAG issues going all the way back :o .......... takes up a wardrobe on it's own that collection (ok, my music mags are in there too but it's still a mass of media :D)
 
I was wondering where the mag was, it's happened a few times lately that they've been late as well. But usually I find it's always worth it. The cover DVD is also a great sweetener.

Only problem is that I now have about 40 of them, along with 40 of PCFormat, and it is a pain to go through. I notice that PCFormat puts the same software on the disks ad nauseum, same utilities and so on. Nag is always fresh every month.

I have to admit that I'm running out os space in my room with all my mags. I'm wondering if I should recycle some of my older mags from 2004/2005. Better than throwing away I guess.
 
I stopped buying PCformat cause they are just a plain copy of the UK version... They dont even change the prices half the times... PCformat has got a demo of grid on their dvd this month... i am sure the game has been out for 2 months now already?

I buy Nag every month, have done so since issue 1... Best value game mag in sa by far, and i am sure it would give some of the overseas ones a good run for their money..

It definitely helps with the cover dvd, so you dont have to waste intl cap downloading 4 gig demos just to find out the game you were looking forward to is infact crap.. :p
 
fully agree with ajax...

I used to buy bought NAG and PC format but soon learned that NAG was the better of the two. I surf off 3G so the utilities and patches are a godsend.
