Need a search provider for Sickbeard

Hi guys

Really been struggling to find a search provider since nzbmatrix went down ( 1 week after i donated :twisted: ) , used nzbx for a while but it went down also .... ( guess who had just donated again ) .

Oznzb is ok for now but it only allows 5 api calls a day and dumb sickbeard is looking for shows hours before they actually air since you cant adjust the time for time zone difference US :erm:

So what are you guys all using at the moment ?


Oh and has anybody managed to get the sorting function working between sabnzb and sickbeard where it puts the download into the right files ? I'v tried to get it to work but i was unsuccessful and its not an easy process .

Try nzbid.org.

Disable sorting in sab if you use sickbed. Just set your categories correctly. I use nzb.su, think registration is closed now though. Occasionally I upgrade to vip if I have a big backlog

newztown.co.za not bad either.

but can you still register on nzb.su? not much help if you can't. I haven't checked the site in ages. it just works...

nzb.su doesnt have open registrations , but between newztown.co.za and nzbid.org all should be working

Keep suggesting though if there are other alternatives , can always use the thread as a reference should all these sites go the way of nzb matrix

I use newztown, nzb.su and nzbsa.co.za. Nzbsa.co.za has no APi limits as far as I know.

nzbs.org
nzbsa.co.za

With those 2 I don't need any other.

I suggest you try to get an invite to nzbsa.co.za from somewhere, its pretty good, and most of the time have my movie nzbs before nzbs.org get it.

Yeah, but you cant use an API key from them unless you donate, and only way to use it as a search provider on SB and CP is with the API key, or am i mistaken, and there is a way around that?

I'm using NZBPlanet and NzbSA mostly, but i'm getting a lot of these on NzbSA:

Unpacking failed, archive requires a password

It's frustrating and almost making me move back to torrents.
