Recently the copper cables were stolen from the area (reservoir hills, Durban) and Telkom says they WONT replace it at all, AND that there are NO plans for fibre in the area.

So now I'm stuck at looking for an LTE solution that will allow me over 200GBs.

I'm thinking about using a dual SIM router with RAIN and another provider for the peak times. (MTN currently is running a special of 40+40 gigs for 299)

1) Thoughts on this solution or any other recommendations?
2) What good dual SIM routers are there that will allow me to schedule the usage of the sim cards at different times?

Rain+ a small package is your best bet.
Many posts here using 2 routers + time switching or I think the Mikrotik router is a dual sim.
I use an average WebAfrica Telkom deal and then buy the Mo'nice 450 GB nightsurfer for R59 when I have serious downloads to do.

Check the Axxess month to month deals if I remember correctly

Rain is going to unusable in a couple months time

Thanks. I'll look into the Mikrotek. Trying to avoid Telkom.
Time switching as in the router turning off at specified times?
