Need help connecting to home wireless

Hi. I have a D-Link DWA-525 PCI card which I've just inserted into my machine. I have installed the drivers and rebooted.

I added a new device along with the key. However it keeps telling me Waiting For Users. I just know I've configured it all wrong, something with the WPA or some protocol or other.

I am now looking at this. What do? :wtf:

Waiting for users cause it's in Adhoc mode i.e. working as an AP.

Rather change to infrastructure mode. Should be able to connect then.

Just chucked the wireless card in the bin and ran a cat5 cable straight into the router. Problem solved.

Lan cable is the best way to go, BUT I still have a wireless card for testing or the odd occasion when something goes wrong.

Looking at your pic, I'd say you're in the wrong tab? You're in "my wireless networks" where i think you should be in "wireless networks".

Or why you no click the network icon in the tray icons next to the clock.

Now you choose WPA/Personal one and then you type in whatever your key is (whether its the one on the bottom of your B315 or if you've changed it to whatever it is)
