So im busy setting up this printer for Wifi printing/scanning but I dont see an .exe on their website for the driver, only a bunch of small loose files. Ive done many HP printers and the driver/application is about ~120MB so i try to look for something around that size but the biggest i can see is 23MB.

It looks over complicated for such a simple task, does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks, model is a MP 1600.

The small loose files could work. Try and add the printer through printers and devices, add tcp/ip printer and point the driver installation to the downloaded loose files.

But how do you tell it to scan without a GUI application?

You can try and use the Windows Scan and Fax manager? They work for generic scanners

LazyLion - that's when you add the printer manually. In general the Ricoh software support is crap and you are gonna have to make do with that manual setup and Windows scan and fax manager.

We just plugged our copy machine into our network, then it showed up in our network neighbourhood. So I double clicked on it - and then pointed it to the drivers that I had just downloaded.
Worked fine.
