Need honest opinions

Ok so I logged onto your page and their is no header for what you guys do or what you sell, had to click on order to find out. First impressions count...

Neat display, but what's is all about.
First screen should give introduction, who you are, what you do/sell etc.

It also took me a while to find out what it is that you guys do. Also your validations are slow. Try to use more client side validations to speed things up a bit. Otherwise its a great start.

I have just compared your site mentioned above to the actual demo of the open source package at http://boxbilling.com and cannot see what you have actually done except change a logo and remove the BoxBilling logo.

I notice that you have removed the BoxBilling logos so I presume you have bought the pro version ? Refer : http://www.boxbilling.com/forum/cus...tions/can-i-remove-the-branding-of-boxbilling

It would be a shame if you infringed their copyright to claim this as your own development to your client.

Kind of puts your client in a bad light, don't you think ?

Are you perhaps an owner of BoxBilling ?

+1

You could of easily developed a small app for a client management portal or just leave the copyright and link back in place that's the least you can do

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the suggestions. I do agree the first page could do with more information, will work. With regards to the BoxBilling, I have clarified this, according to what I understand, you can remove the logo, but you can't edit it so that the emails don't display the footer, if you do not want that you have to buy a licence. Every system email has the Box Billing footer in it. So the copyright information is there. But after all they deserve the credit, so the logo is back.

Once again thanks for the suggestions, will work on it. But I am thinking of changing from Box Billing? Because I have played with the WHMCS demo and I really liked it, I was about to buy the Box Billing Pro licence but after seeing WHMCS, I am having second thoughts about Box Billing.

Any thoughts on WHMCS or anything that is similar?

To quote http://www.boxbilling.com/forum/cus...tions/can-i-remove-the-branding-of-boxbilling This is from the forum website response by BoxBilling so I think somewhere there is a miscommunication.

You are allowed to remove boxbilling branding only if you have PRO version.

I don't know much about this so I'm going to give you an uneducated users opinion.

Your heading is too small
I like your logo nice
Other than that I find the site a bit bland, not that's a bad thing though

Thanks.

I am working on the heading. However it is not the main website, it just a portal which I set up. The main website is http://web-guy.co.za

Don't have that much experience with WHMCS and the Smarty templating, but I think you've done well in keeping a cleam Bootstrap-templated site. I remember trying to create WHMCS theme, to dismay ...
Enough's been said about the content, but I wuite like the design :)

Hi SuperNev,

Thanks. WHMCS is actually very good. But BoxBilling is not bad at all, if you can get South African payment gateways to work with it, then I would recommend it. I did try, and developed a few modules for it, but they never worked properly. So for now we only limited to WHMCS as even with ClientExec, most local gateways don't support it.

But anyway, thanks for checking it out.

Your logo needs some serious attention. It looks very amateur. Like you used a "Free Create 1000000 Logos" program.
People judge a site by the overall appearance and the logo. Doesn't help you have a nice clean site, but a '90s era logo.

Twitter Feed widget is also not loading for me.

Ok.

That's strange as I am on there right now and the Twitter widget is working, maybe just refresh the page. It should come right.
