Need manual for a D-link DBS-2012 bluetooth speaker?

I need the manual for a D-link DBS-2012 bluetooth speaker, I'm pretty handy with google and internet hunting but faq me if I can't find anything about this device on the D-link websites, it was released in SA last year/2015.

Anyone have the pdf manual for this or can help me find one on the web somehwere?

This is what they look like, very cool little speakers for the money(Around R400, gives my JBL BT speaker a good run for the money and has way more handy features):

Looks like a Bose Soundlink Mini clone/rebrand. Not sure if manuals are interchangeable...
 
Thanks for the links but I'm looking for the original manual, I can pair a phone with it but I want to see what else it can do, and if there are any setting I can tweak like switching off the stupid spoken menu "brutooth connected" "blattery row" etc.
 
Contacted D-Link: There is no manual and the voice prompts can not be disabled.

Awesome thanks man, why would they not release a manual for this device? The fact I couldn't find one via a google search pointed that way.
 
Lots of items don't have manuals recently. Must be a way to cut costs...

Was using dlink speaker and it stopped all of a sudden. now the far right light is flashing, cannot connect bluetooth, doesnt connect when on charge and doesnt work on jack either

Check Ponder's post #3. I am sure he is correct in identifying your product. D-Link and most other "suppliers" of OEM products love re branding equipment. Most of the time they are too lazy to change the firmware and programming. Use his links, download the manuals and trouble shoot from there. IMHO this is your only solution, no other help forthcoming, especially from D-link. In 2008 they actually released an adsl modem on the SA market with a Russian only set-up CD included in the package.

No, this is not a rebranded Bose, nor is the Bose a rebranded Dlink, the Dlink may possibly be rebranded from some other manufacturer though. They may look the same as thieving designers like stealing the look of high end products but that's where it ends.
 
Why do you need manual? I got mine last week and spent 1 minute figuring it out.Hold bluetooth button and then connect to your phone.The name comes up as DBS -something
 
Got the same speaker with a cellphone upgrade.
Mine has a "Product Manual", but it's just a tiny one-sided card.

Probably battery related, li-ion battery circuits may have gone into protection mode and perhaps that means the unit can't power up even if plugged into a charger.

My d-link doesn't want to charge and the white light is perm on?

I ended up leaving the unit alone for a day or two, flashing a blue light.

Gave it a few shakes. Plugged it into the charger again for a day and now it's working fine again.

Still don't know what went wrong or how /why it resolved itself.
