We have a HikVision Accusense ColorVu analytical camera and the settings for line crossing and intrusion detection use to be enabled on the camera but I disabled it because the neighbours cat kept setting it off.

I tried to put it back on and to check the box that says "enable line crossing" / "enable intrusion detection" and I have drawn the area but when I click apply it tells me "Not enough resource for human body analysis engine"? What is this?

our other Analytical same - same model still has the intrusion and line crossing enable and I checked the settings on both cameras and they are the same so does anyone know what the problem is?

I have tried google but could not come right.
Thanks

Quick Google seems to indicate some can only do that detection on some channels, not all and they throw that error if you're trying to pass the amount it can do. Probably because of the CPU power required. Are you trying to turn this on for all channels? Make sure its not turned on for other channels where don't need it, as they'll be considered active so if you go over the allowed no of channels it can do the intrusion checks on it will trigger the error.

It's only for this one camera.

The only thing that changed was that we installed a IP camera with sound card at the back of the house and the technician had to move all the cables at the back of the DVR one down, he said something about that that the new camera and sound card could only go into that slot of the dvr - could that be the issue? so all the cameras basically moved one channel down. And we have 2 analytical cameras, 3 IP cameras (1 of which has sound card)

Sorted it out - I disabled line crossing and intrusion on one of the other cameras where i didnt need it - So does this DVR then only let me put 2 cameras on with line crossing & intrusion??

sorry and then last questions - whats the difference between line crossing and intrusion detection?
