So...
i might have missed it, but any news yet on the "IMMINENT" (quote: 2008) release of this functionality...?
it must be the most epicest ultimate super duper service that any ISP has ever launched, EVER.

it MUST be, because we are still waiting...

Also waiting + the call centre can't even give you usage stats. WTF.

They are trying to milk every cent out of you before you are even aware that you are being screwed....so why rush into providing it!

well... i was just wondering about it because i left Neotel, and every day that goes by just makes me happy to see they are still crap.
sorry for the current neotel guys... really... i was there, and know how it feels.
so good luck

Phoned the call centre yesterday for usage stats, as you said they can't give any stats, and then his suggestion to me was that I must buy my own usage meter software and do the monitoring myself. What a joke......

They suggested I download Du Meter. I already use Networx and I only want to compare stats.

This is a disgrace. Neotel have been promising a bandwidth meter for ages and the fact that they can't deliver it means that we are probably being overbilled for out usage.
I just wish there was some way to get them to understand that this is not acceptable business behaviour.

Ai tog, I dunno if I should feel sorry for you guys or point and laugh at you... I'll go with "feeling sorry for you guys" only because I think the latter would really be mean.

Words of advice: "Time to move on"

Agree gdiza. With the competition hotting up in the "other" DSL market, got no excuse to say "I'll wait for better prices".

I still owe R600 for my Neotel Prime device, cannot sell it as who is going to want it anyway, and then I need to budget another R1000 for Telkom as I need a new router ... will have to wait for a few months then ... bummer

Neotel, please provide us with UNCAPPED internet, then you can shelve your non existent bandwith meter!!

If only we was not forced to take the telephone line with adsl then I would jump the boat straight back to adsl, but the cost saving is not that big to consider to move back. One still have to pay R 160 for a line that I have no use for. I have a cell phone and my company pays for my calls, so the line is to no use for me. Neotel needs to come to the party and and start dropping prices soon. I can see there demise very soon, and shame on Hugo not keeping us informed any more on here. Neotel ? Whats Happening?

I heard the meter will be released just as the earth ends ....
