I download about 10GB's a month... it's all worth it![]()
There are no..... Oh wait there is out-of-bundle usage. Seriously WTH? Learn to speak please!
All international download? And what if you want to download more than 10Gb?

By comparison, the Telkom Closer 5 option R651 for:
Unlimited National Calls during Callmore time (up to an hour a call)
1000 Standard time minutes
Per second billing
4096kbps DSL
This excludes ISP fee. Given this package, I really expected Neotel to come in cheaper...
I think one of the biggest advantages is actually the out-of-bundle rate for bandwidth. It is a first in the market at these rates - multiple times cheaper than any other per-MB rate from the mobile players or iBurst and cheaper than any ADSL provider to the best of my knowledge.is R70GB, charged per MB, so you could call it roll over bandwidth.
Ah ok, sorrySorry, that was my error (I was editing late last night) ... not Maneesh![]()
Give me 5Gig at R300 to start with the option to upgrade

I'm interested in the phone itself - these days you need to ask what sort of battery life is guaranteed in case of an emergency during an all day outage? We know telkom lines will always work even if there is no power.
Is an alarm system going to be able to function normally? What about faxing?
Many thanks - it will be interesting to hear what they say about alarms too.Hi Bwana
I left the device on for the last 36 hours, made two calls, and the power is still at 3/4 bars. It looks like the battery life is good, but I hope a few other guys will do more in-depth testing.
I doubth that standard faxing will be possible...but maybe the Neotel can clear up all of these Q's. Will shoot through an email after compiling a list...
