Neotel Dejavu

More a case of DejaMoo....
I've heard this bullschit before...

that's a great little summary of what's been promised over the past couple of years. Put's it all into perspective.

It seems the driving force will be to get businesses connected first as they seem (to Neotel) to be the priority. Once that's done then residential will roll out. Who knows when that will be.

telkoms 'hate' site was hellkom.co.za.... any ideas for neotel's one? seems there will be one much sooner than we thought... :D

It is not clear whether Pandey merely refers to an announcement of a potential service offering or to an actual commercial launch of their consumer services. The promise of action within 100 days also smacks of a similar promise made by Pandey nearly a year ago.

It's perfectly clear.

He is referring to an announcement announcing the pending announcement of an announcement announcing the imminent announcing of an announcement of an announcement which will announce the possible services to be offered by his esteemed organisation.

Please note that this announcement should not be taken as the official announcement, an announcement of which will be announced after the initial announcement.

:D

Neotel was asked for comment regarding Pandey’s latest statements and the potential launch of its commercial residential services in the next month or two, but the company did not respond to requests for feedback
.
Typical ^ is. Learned from the best hey boys
Seems we'll never get anything from a fixed line operator in this country

And someone please run a full check on bekdik.
Either he has been brainwashed or actually works for Telscum's Spinning Department and was put here to sidetrack us into hysterious fits of laughter thats meant to pull our thoughts away from the fact that Telscum is the enemy!

I'm onto you buddy - the truth is out, this was just a bit much ;) :p
We'll save you!!! :D :D

why they pushing bundled packages? i mean i'd think separate voice and data would give consumers choice and moe them more readily move than combo where u might possibly give up your number :s I mean i understand cross product subsidies, and the whole push factor to get voice going as well as a piggy back even.. but it makes little sense with established players in the market.

Right, well, no surprises there. Neotel=Telkom in orange

Now when is Vodacom or MTN launching Wimax?

When they launch they are not going to help me as I want ADSL and they will not offer that. So I dont care anymore.

I'm going to just keep hoping for the best. If it truly is a delay then it's going to truly suck, but maybe he was misquoted. The dreams are fading quickly, but I'm still holding onto hope :o

And I must agree, bekdik's comment was one of the funniest things I have ever read. My stomach still hurts from laughing. Imagine that said in a deadpan style :D

Oh you don't have to imagine that. Watch the news tonight for a government minister or spokesman talking :D

I just called Neotel now and they guaranteed me that NO LATER than the end of March this year.....so lets see what happens, and app he is being getting a cr@p load of calls.

HMMMMM sounds like Mr. Pandey’s in traditional Indian fashion is stringing us along.

Rolling out a national network is no small feat, but it would appear that most of the population that cares about telecoms/broadband service will manage to immigrate before Mr. Pandey pulls the finger out of his arse, and actually sees that one of his publicized milestones are meet.
