Neotel predicts dramatic price drops

Blah blah blah, actions speak louder than words.

And we won't even talk about "PREDICTIONS"

But looking forward to seeing this, maybe Neotel is more reliable than Telkom and the rest of the goon platoon.

I doubt the prices on lower end offerings from the various service providers will drop much.

In my opinion we're not going to see R50 10GiB broadband offerings however we may end up with R250 30GiB type offerings which I'll be happy with.

The providers will just give you more bandwidth and/or features for your money but don't expect the equipment/line rental prices to drop.
Time will tell.

...says the Neotel man boasting about NeoFlex before it was launched.

As a corporate ... this guy should know how much he will be selling his service in 6 months time.

All this cat an mouse bullsh1t is tiring..

SA consumer has been faked around for 10 years now mr Neotel, you are gainign nothing by playing ur cards closed. If you are in deed going to make attempt to change current state of affairs, disclosing what your immediate plan is can only gain you crittical mass support...

Don't play games with already agitated and angry mob.... we had enough........ hand hand over that fiber cable to my garage thank you ... ..

Yey a promise of cheap bandwidth from neotel! It will happen as soon as they call you back(good luck with that) and when the speeds are faster than dialup!

i wonder if his 6/7 months is like the neotel launch which took a lot longer that they said. 2ndly unless he is prepared to pay the difference of peoples accounts for when this 'dramatic price reductions' are going to occur, he is just riding the free publicity you get when you tell people prices are coming down and you are head of a major telecom(or minor trying to get clients) company.

They can cut the price as much as they want, its not going to help unless they increase the area they cover.

Ja, ja, ja....Blah, blah blah

Neotel, you have successfully given customers the impression that you do not speak the truth.

...probably because Seacom is coming online by the middle of 2009? Seacom last year already made their pricing available so Neotel can accurately predict what they would want to charge consumers?
