Neotel prices unchanged

I think the whole of sa is still waiting for coverage.
 
They got plenty of coverage... in the news! :D

now on the airwaves... that is another matter :(
 
I'll get Neotel once the latency improves, and has ethernet
2.4mbps still seems slow as well and 2000min to Neotel to Neotel is useless ATM
 
I'm underwhelmed tbh. Neotel's call rates aren't that much cheaper - well not enough to warrant a move just yet. In the data space they do have some attractive options, but the lack of a fixed line offering is a major turn-off.
 
neotell is getting my money if they have coverage in my area
 
So we are deliriously happy because Neotel does not increase the prices they published about a month ago?
If they would increase the prices because Telkom have increased theirs now, then they would be as opportunistic and exploitative as Telkom, if not more so.
 
Where is it available

You know what would be really helpful (and maybe it is there but certainly not easy to find) is a planned roll-out coverage map. Or are they making it up as they go along? :)

Very true - it would be nice to get a bit of an insight as to what they've got planned - years of being in the dark is enough ;)

Hell at this rate - if you saw a coverage map and you were not in it - some may be desperate enough to move into the covered area :p

Come on Neotel - catch a wake up ;)

Hey, I've heard those before, is THAT what those are ... they're followed by a bit of a delay too before ringing starts, first couple of times I heard it I hung up because I thought there was some kind of network error putting the call through. Eventually I realised that my calls would get through eventually and kinda got used to it.
 
I wonder if Neotel pricing will go up once people jump the Telkom ship and they finally have a big customer base?

At the rate I download, it doesn't seem like a wireless solution would suit me well. And I'm not seeing any realworld reviews on their service offerings.

No becuase once they steal enough of telkom's customers telkom will be forced to drop prices.

If telkom drop prices there is no way Neotel will raise prices.
 
How do I become a neotel trialist ?

I see that neotel are putting in cables here (somerset west) and I would like to become a trial customer. Anyone know how to go about this?
