hi all currently im on iburst thinking of moving to neotel prime uncapped

just would like to ask a few questions

how is the latency to thew telia network?
is this package truly uncapped.. cause if i reach 130 gig and they cut me off like telkom im gonna rage

are all neotel packages unshaped
how is the porting on neotel.

last but most important
how is the gaming on neotel?

Honestly, if you are lucky enough to get a good connection, it is truly uncapped. Get an antenna and amplifier and your pretty much sorted if your tower isnt over loaded. And no. Never ever game on neotel. Doesn't work. Unless your doing something like casual WoW, don't even bother... Well that is true for the flex and prime networks. Wait a bit and see if the neowimax ping is decent.

That's one thing I wish I could do... game on Neotel.

If they (Neotel) were smart, they'd make a plan... Those downloaders who want to game will rather game than download... traffic on towers will drop because gaming uses less data than downloading - but you can only do one at a time :D

I personally would love to start online gaming!

i only play wow.. so does my gf and so does her brother in the same house.. and iburst is getting retarted with their prices

not to mention .,... haviong to top up twice a month.. lol... and also it comes to 800 + rands for 5 gig cap shaped to death

I know the feeling voltage. Just wait like a month or two for the neotel wimax. I got a mate who says he gets a ping of 12ms on it to SA and 250ms to UK... Then again thats one that works on an unovercrowded network.

As I said before. And uncapped option with amp and antenna will work fine for wow. Just dont try play CoD or HON on it. I tried. Didn't work. I keep my tiny ibubbles account for low ping games, so I can still jam FPS games :D

Do a search on the Neotel forum and look at the threads I started and how they were resolved.

Now, I have bad days whenever the weather sucks (remember, I have antenna now) but ever since then, Neotel has generally behaved.
