I can't understand why Neotel's clients who are within Screamer WiMAX coverage are still sticking with this ptifull Neotel service:eek:
 
FFS where is the neorep? We need answers to WHY they keep moving the towers around

Yesterday night I realised that PN 152 has been brought back online. I now have 4 bars and my RSSI is 64 with a pathetic download speed of 128k. The other PN (304) I connect to gives me an RSSI of 93 and 240k down.

Neotel we're impatiently waiting for you to sort out our speed issues. I now have excellent coverage again but the speeds are as bad as before.

Well I about have had it with these okes!!!
tested on 2 sites first on www.speedtest.net
Download: Speed 0.48mbs
Upload: 0.06mbs
Ping:349ms
Then at http://speedtest.neotel.co.za/
Download: 518kbps
Upload: 97kbps
no ping ( might be to big to display)

I too am in Westville with Excellent Coverage!!!! WTF:confused:

No no boosters - just a Yagi that I bought from poynting. Ive been using it since i got neoflex.

Did another speed test and got a DL speed os 134KB/s which is back to normal.

Ouch. I really feel for you guys.

Neotel should take a page out of Screamers book and only connect clients who have decent signal instead of just signing up everyone and hoping that they don't all cancel.
Even though you may be getting signal you are not getting acceptable speeds which means they are contending you way over acceptable limits.

I have experienced these speeds since I signed up with Screamer a year ago.

RSSI up from 71 to 102 and signal down from 4 bars to 2. That means my coverage has changed once again :(

Thanks for your advice Playoff have contacted sreamers very efficient speed a bit slow but they will try for 1 meg.3 to 5 working days installation not bad.
