Speeds are still pathetic, i.e. 10Kb/s

Below is a history of speed tests for my current IP. Could the speed issues be affecting IP ranges? Everyone who's had this IP assigned to them gets crap speeds.

DarkDenim, we probably on the same tower dude. I'm not even managing a stable 8kB/s... quite painful, yes...

Yup. Funny thing is I check this thread for your posts so that I know when speeds are crap or good.

Thank god i read this thread. Was thinking about cancelling my 4MB for neotel. Has anyone downloaded faster than 500kbs?

I've gotten myself an antenna now and my speeds have basically doubled. RSSI of 48. PN 264.

I've had about 2 disconnects this whole weekend so far, that was due to the phone going all fong kong(phone freezing, screen going all black, have to pull out battery). Will prob have to get a new one as it seems faulty.

6:00pm 23 May

850kbps down
60kbps up

Neotel Prime unlimited, Kenilworth Cape Town. Up to now I've been carefully optimistic about Neotel, since they've been pretty good (between 40kb/s and 120kb/s) where I live. But at the end of my first week under 20kb/s, I'm starting to look at other service providers; probably Telkom line and Axxess internet. I'm under 20kb/s between 10:00 AM and 12:00 AM, and around 50kb/s while I'm asleep and at work between 12:00 AM and 10:00 AM. A lot of the time it falls under 10kb/s. So I can't browse on it, Skype on it or stream media on it. All it allows is downloading, and even that is so slow that I don't get much downloaded. I'm starting to face the fact that, if people complained about speed and connection problems this time last year, and we are still complaining about speed and connection problems now, the Neotel technical staff are just not capable of identifying and fixing the problem. All so-called fixes are temporary patch-ups. Today's good areas become tomorrow's crap areas and vice versa. Right, now, my fifth attempt to send this post!

o_0 Perfect Signal <> Speed

My connection is on perfect signal (Green) on my NeoFlex device.

My local: download speed is 100KB/s and Upload speed is 90KB/s.
My International: download speed is +- 10KB/s and Upload speed is 20KB/s.

What the heck is going on, Perfect signal and this is the best speeds I get!
Downloads never finish at these speeds they eventually just hit 0KB/s and cancel

Ok. I have no access whatsoever now. Neotel just cant login. Phone works, internet doesnt. I've been pretty patient until now. Neorep, please fix this, like now.
