Neotel WiMax arrives

Arg!

Why can't they just do this for residential customers as well.... *mutter*

Once again the enterprise customers get preference.

Because they have more money. Duh!

But Residential customers want Wimax too.

I for one would rather be serviced via wimax than cdma.

“We have engaged with the vendors to roll-out networks in the two spectrums we will be using, namely 3.5GHz and 10.5GHz,” he says. “We are providing a full IP environment with Ethernet interfaces.”

*puts hand up* Mmm... we'd love some of that as well please!

ROLF. That is very amusing.

I wonder what a 2mbps WiMax connection costs

Your floor laughs? (Rolling On The Laughing Floor is what I make of ROLF) :p :D

As for the price *brrrr* who knows? Why not give them a call, just for the heck of it ;)

Is it just me or does this article contain a lot of will's and should's instead of can's and does'?

All of this is pointless if the areas that are covered are not advertised. Pricing would be good too.

slowly does it.

neotel's been a real disappointment so far. So now we're pinning our hopes on SEACOM, will that be a let down too.

I'm so sick of this whole situation.

Will Enterprise Wireless connect via an USB port device?
And will it stall the internet connection while phone calls are made?

How can an article like this be posted when WIMAX has not officially been launched as per the response I got from Neotel:
