ie If Apple goes to YouTube and says 'you're more htan welcome to have your app on our store - but we don't like or support the VP9 codec you've chosen' ... who is at 'fault' ? Being an Apple person you'd say YouTube - but can you see how the limitations imposed also limit YouTube? Are you capable of understanding that much?
What does the codec have to do with not refreshing the app? As far as I can tell the codec hasn’t led to missing titles in iOS or tvOS. This is merely you applying your mental gymnastics once again.
The below doesn't look like you're agreeing with me & you probably could have worded your agreement better
Are you ?
I’m open to the idea of bad blood. Where I don’t agree is that it’s Apple’s fault by default as it is with you and then working backwards. You’re one of those people where there is a problem with every solution.
a) I said they don't have great blood between them
b) I said that more than likely politics / commercials are the reason
c) I asked whether you feel strict guidelines are a type of limition
And then immediately infer that lack of development is Apple’s fault… It’s tiresome.
It's tough to talk to people so illogical that get upset at the first sign that Apple may not be perfect in a situation and thus, need to look for and argue their way out on behalf of Apple.
I’m not upset because I’m well aware that Apple is far from perfect. I just don’t go around nitpicking.
