NETGEAR Router Problem never seen anything like it

OK so i have had this router (DG834GUv5) for quite sometime now.
3 months ago it started doing summin wierd.
i put in the ip in my browser it askes me for the password and username.
I enter it and hit enter. then it pops upagain. nothing has happend on the webpage .
its just asking me for the user and pass.

So i decided let me do a hard reset. so i did and after 10min of setting up agian and everyone complaining that the internet does not work. I could log in again .
Then a few days later it did the same thing again. so i swiched it off and on again .n but nothing.
and now im sitting here with a router ...it works fine just cant acces it.

I dont wanna keep resetting it.

Anyone heard of this b4.

is that a Telkom supplied router, the default username/password is admin/admin resp. that gives u access to the configuration gui of the modem, configure WAn ADSL username/password (ISP details), and ensure you save configuration. if it loses that setting, then router is faulty.

Try useing IE. For some reason those routers don't like ff very much.
