Need some advice. Have the old DSC 5500, came with the house

I want a system I can monitor via internet.

Seen some systems looks like either paradox or ajax.

I don't know which specific model to buy for either brand

Can someone help with the pros and cons of either brand?

i would go for AJAX or HIKVISION as load shedding does not impact the system and the batteries are guaranteed to last 5 years and if you get the sensors (indoor and outdoor) with the cameras, then should the alarm go off it will send a visual x3 of that area of the sensor, then latter on you can control your gate, garage, lights and even water over flow,just make sure to future proof and get the HUB2+ and get a sim card for when the internet is off, each sensor will give you the temp for that area

If you are into building stuff yourself you can keep the DSC and install one of these.

Just an update - installed the Olarm pro. Works like a charm! Thanks for the advice everyone
