It will take up some more disk space, how much space depends on how much content you have in your Plex library. It's well worth it imo.

Cool, no problem. Just also don't freak out when you see the Plex transcoder running for a while now, that's for the thumbnail generation. If you scheduled it with the Butler then you shouldn't notice this though.

Indeed, I doubt it'll happen this year but it will happen. It must be galling for Sir Jony to have his work relegated to a black nubbin pushing content to someone else's badly designed 'smart' TV. But don't worry, I'm sure it will be missing some critical next-gen feature so that you can continue feeling smug.
