NEW ATi HD 4850 Trouble

The 4870 is a brilliant card, it whips the gtx280;s sorry ass :p Half the price and only down by 8fps max in all games.
 
i am really starting to thing i have gotten my self a peace of crap here..

Corsair 1333 2x1024 DHX gaming ram (lots of lock ups)
MSI diamond x38 ( ja...wat can i say...SH iT)
250 SATA2 3Gb/s
HD 4850 512mb sapphire
HD creative sound card ( with scratching sound as a bonus)
Samsung 2232GW LCD
600watt OCZ stealthextreme
Coolermaster 690CM chassi
LG dvd-ram

this is a besidews the point problem, but i just want to make sure if this is the screen or can it be my card as well?

contras set to 0,brightness set to 0, catalist settings set to low, screen set to 0, and still i can see a damn thing when the sun comes up in the game(s), i have to wear sunglasses because the ovet contras or brightness is blindind me..

are those just in game settings or are they set on the LCD too?
 
THIS is really starting to irritate me...its seems to begetting worst, could just frustration.

IF any one can recommend a replacement X38 chip set board please post...

Well the Gigabyte GA-x38-dq6 is really good, thats if you can find one, but the the GA-x48-dq6 will do just as well, very reliable boards. :cool:

Your lcd is FINE, if it was messed up the image(s) would have not looked soo pixelated on my Samsung T260 if it was your screen ;)

how about the intel bone trail 2? i can afford that...

that is it, giving this pc away.. now my HDD sooundz like it is scratching his plates against a wall .... i give up...l.:mad:
 
rather go intel, I don't recommend Asus. I've had two die on me, although one was DOA
:(
