Pitbull was able to look up on the system the megabyte totals for the last three months. My average is around 350MB, and I still have the R75 from the MyChoice package (which translates to 50MB at the out-of-bundle rate of R1.50/MB) to play with should I go slightly over my 350MB bundle. The other thing he clarified for me was the unused portion of the R75 carries over for one month, so I could have up to 100MB in reserve.
is this the R75 form the Mychoice contract?
I thought it rolled over indefinitely? Whatever voice/data amount that is left from the R75/R300 etc gets carried over the next month and the next month and the next month.....

I forgot to "say try and audio stream tonight" due to my current data problem...lol

Or you can download the app from wap.virginradio.co.uk and try it.

Virgin UK is also on Worldspace satellite radio if you're interested.

Yup.

Apparently not. :(
HHmmm, will check this out coz on my Mychoice300 statement there is a X amount that is specified to have been carried over...

This rollover is mainly why I got the MyChoice contract because this is what I was told how it would work. I specifically recall asking whether this rollover is indefinite or limited. I also have a Mychoice75 which is there for emergencies, meaning if not used the amount rolls over... so if still unused after 12months, I will have R900 worth of data/voice...

Tell me this is how it works.......

So do I understand correctly that that P2P will be charged as normal data and not extra?

Migrating to Extended 1 gig

I have been wanting to migrate my package since the special. I have contacted the call centre and they confirmed that I am able to migrate and that I will be able to migrate to the "Extended 1 Gig package with 1 gig free" for 24 months. I have just visited one of your MTN stores. They enquired as to what would be received on this package if I would migrate. They said that I would only receive one gig free for one month only of the extended data plan for R 479.00 (the data card still subsidised). Please explain why as "http://www.mtn.co.za/?pid=309378" said you either get three months or remainder of package the one gig free. I am not certain why there is conflicting information given to me or which one will be applicable to me. I want the package that I will be paying the R 479.00 per month and getting the 1 gig and 1 gig free for the remainder of my contract. Please explain how I can go about doing this.

You can't migrate from a current package and migrate to a promo

In order to elagable for the Extended Data package with 1GIG and 1GIG free you need to take a new contract

It's like saying you have a MYCALL 100 package @R 135.00 and then MTN have a promo on the MYCALL 100 package @R49 a month you can't migrate from the MYCALL 100 package at R135 to R49

Hope that explains things

It can't be done

@overdoze

I'll advise on the business rules around actually being able to migrate to the 1GIG package and get back to you I'm a little out of it at the moment as I'm not in the department anymore

Will advise ASAP

MMMM I would assume you don't qualify for the extra GIG on the migration?
