Can anyone advise. My old Explora's hard drive was corrupted and I had to purchase a new one. On the old system there was a port for a heart beat cable which sent the signal to the second decoder via a second dish that was 100m away. There is no second port for the heart beat cable on the new one so I have to connect a second cable to directly to the Smart LNB, can I take this cable directley to the second decoder or must it go via the dish as was the case with the old heart beat cable. Out of interest what is the Univ port for on the smart LNB.
We are on a farm in the Karoo at least 200km from the nearest DSTV office so any help would be much appreciated.
