Hahaha, wow brilliant i must admit. Ice it is beginning to look like it did when i first read this thread.

Now we await ICEQB to report back on this smoking broken PSU he just expected esquire would replace.

It's in fsucking bad taste if you ask me. I daily lose more respect for the Esquire idiots representing them on MyBB. They are very irritating, cocky, overly self opinionated, always arguing against customers and spamming MyBB and my email with their so called "specials" that is not always such a special.

If I were Mohamed I would have fired many of them already

It seems to be a snide comment about Ice's supposed sexual preferences? Coming from someone who is supposedly fasting to purify themselves (in a religion that does not seem to support homosexuality), this does hit a few wrong notes...

Pity MyBB doesn't have a worst company rep poll, poor taste in the comment about life partner.
It doesn't help Esquire's reputation at all, not that they have a good reputation on their returns policy anyway.
 
If you actually read the whole thread you see that there was nothing wrong with the PSU that was tested for two days continuously , Two day later the OP's partner picked the PSU and was shown before he left that it was still running , so how come it becomes our fault when we proved to him that there was nothing wrong with it , even the OP himself when he brought it in claiming it was dead and smoking was shown it was running and opted to leave it the branch and post , two days later it was still running with no fault so where are we in the wrong on this one , Must we just swapped out every time a client or a MyBB members claims something is wrong without testing the item, honestly no company in South Africa would just do that.
 
I understand that the items should be tested if brought in under warranty. Esquire do not have a great reputation when it comes to returns, but I believe you missed my point completely - Why get personal in the post quoted below - That sucks coming from a company rep.

just for your information the OP on the thread was referring to a UniQue Case and PSU that cost R199.oo excl not the Arctic Fusion PSU that we have on offer as these only arrived yesterday , you are most welcome to confirm this with OP of that post , Arctic make absolutely brilliant products.

IMHO , both look like fools , the esquire rep for his comment and OP for posting before giving them a chance to test the unit ,I deal with Milnerton branch , and love dealing with Graham and Treslin and never had so much drama , has the OP actually tested the unit after he got it back ???

We have had components that sometimes work and other times don't. If a PSU had been smoking then I would have also taken it back and insisted on a swap out. You have no idea when it will fail in the future. Computer components are funny things. I remember a long time back when PC's were first becoming mainstream. We had a computer that worked while the cover was open (flip top) and stopped working the moment you closed the cover. After much investigation, we found that closing the case was bending the motherboard slightly and breaking a circuit. The OP posted here because it was taking too long. I probably wouldn't have done it but I understand his frustration.

The comment from the Esquire rep on this forum was unacceptable from a company representative. Regardless of how he feels that the company has been treated, the company has a responsibility to be "the bigger person". That post will be linked to esquire a long time in the future and rightfully so. Unfortunately, there seem to be a lot of these snide comments coming out of Esquire. They think that they are doing us a favour. It's unfortunately a trend with a lot of South African businesses.

Well I received a PM threat of removing my e-mail spamming and deleting my account at Esquire for my comments. That must be the new Esquire way to deal with MyBB members that voice their dissatisfaction about their conduct when it comes to returns and their sick humor as posted in this thread. Maybe they do not need the MyBB buying power anymore.
