is it hate speech if it is in another language that they think you don't understand?

Reading through some comments here - I can't help but think... If I was a rapist and I was told that the sentences for rapists would be stiffer, I would have a problem with it.

Do people really not understand the difference between hate speech and normal criticism?

and what if you were not a rapist, but a new law left so much room to maneuver that you can now be found guilty of rape for just looking at pr0n (the legal kind)?

Some lack a deep understanding of the fundamental importance of free speech. They will only appreciate the freedoms they once had, once those freedoms are taken away, and the security state turns their attention on them. Our northern neighbour understands this well. But their understanding came too late.

Provide some examples showing how the courts are colour blind by listing where a black person has been prosecuted for hate speech. We all know the white examples exist so unless you can provide something, you're talking rubbish. Remember, you made the claim that the courts are colour blind so it is up to you to provide proof.

You are completely discounting the fact that there is disproportion in the colour of the victims who are mostly black.
