New Huawei E230 modem

Anybody got the new E230 modem? Wots ur impressions?
I need to renew some data modem contracts, and I understand from MTN-SP corp supplier, that they can now only supply (only have) the E230, no more stock of the E170/E270 modems
It seems fine in terms of speed, also 7.2Mbps down, 5.7Mbps upload... they just keep getting smaller!

I bought one about 2 weeks ago.
No issues so far. whats nice is that it also has an sd card slot. For the price its worth it.

looks like the e272 i have just have a sd mem slot to be used as a flashdrive,there a very good performancce,just mtn need to fix this dc problem that i must reconnect every few min

Probably been answered before, but how good is the E230 -> compared to the E170 or E180.
Does the E230 have to be connected via a cable?

Sorry to bring this old thread up, but do you need the Micro card for installation process?

One the users got one now and I see no micro card in the box
