Lol! If that's the case then the Boers are terrorists too, obviously these groups can't change. Germans must still be Nazis too! Has anyone notified the Allied forces?

Because the nonsense you spew can only be considered an opinion. What was the core of your post exactly?
 
South Africans can't relate to Jan van Riebeeck and black South Africans like me can't relate to the big five because most of us have never seen even one of them. So the best thing is to put someone we can relate to.

Last serious point. The reserve bank is privately owned eventhough regulated and somewhat controlled by government. Now I'm keen to find out if the share holders of the reserve bank actually approve of this madness of changing our money.

He is nothing more than a politician, unless you're reading his history like a religion. You know chucking out certain bits that you don't like and only choosing to read what you like!

Either way they should put a big M on the money, so that it can abbreviate 'monopoly money'.

I liked them they way they were. This is not England where we need the Queen on every post stamp, coin and bank note.

No disrespect to Mr. Mandela though but in this country you can't put someones picture/name on something of significance without upsetting people.

How so? Even the ridiculous design costs is cheaper than cost to companies when it comes to name changes. Think about all the companies in CBDs that have had name changes, not to mention the lawyer/admin fees of title deed changes.

Oh well, Im pretty sure you will survive this, "oppression", while most of us enjoy this :) Sorry if it doesnt bother me that this upset you. It doesnt me. Everyone I spoke to this weekend (family+friends) think its a good idea. I had to come to mybb to find someone that actually dislike its. Hope you survive :D

Just to add, I think terrorist acts during the apartheid era was terrible but they were never carried out without some some notion of revenge.

To be honest, I'm very indifferent! I'm fundamentally opposed to a monopolized fiat currency, so having ANC propaganda on my money will remind me of my cause!
