I'll just let the stats speak for themselves. sorry, couldn't find an m1 on the same site as the mustang, you know, just to compare like for like. I didn't even go and post super snakes, GT500 or even a Callaway mustang stats.

True that. I know it's a little off topic but caught Jack Reacher on DStv last night. Car chase with the bad guys in an Audi and Tom in a '70 Chevelle SS... Hmmmm. Even the Camaro Z28 was gorgeous and, yep, I'da chosen it over the whimsical little pickup as well.

Back OT... That Mustang looks better every time i see it.

A Mustang is every man's dream car, and I'll consider buying one on a huge residual. Will the 2.3 eco whatever still make the same sound? Afterall whats a Mustang without the sound, it's like Formula 1 on V6 its just not the same .

A Mustang is not every man's dream car, not in the slightest.

Its a nice looking car, but its not something I'd lust over as a dream car.. its a potentially attainable nice car.

I can think of many other cars i would rather own.

A 2.3l 4cyl will never sound like a V8.

I have to say. It is a good looking car.

These days, there is so many bland mobiles.

An American Muscle car without a V8, what is the point. It is like buying a 116i.
 
I really like the look of this, but for the money they're asking, it puts it squarely up against some very competent German and Japanese competition and I don't think it will come out on top in those fights.

EG, I would rather have bottom of the range F-Type convertible than a top of the range Mustang.

Between the 4C and the Mustang, again its a no brainer as far as I'm concerned. The Alfa would win hands down.

If you're buying a car in that range because it has 4 seats and a boot, then the equivalent priced Merc/BMW/Audi/Jag will be a much better bet as far as I'm concerned.
