everything is "soon" with neotel, but I guess we need a new definition of the word, and to all the people that says "testing requires time" please for once in the life of Neotel give us a concrete deadline, we all need "time" to complete tasks, but non of us works with "soon" as a time frame, I can't see how anyone in the world today can operate with no deadline.
Coming back to the router, again we have a case of "we will offer multi-play" and end up with "This service will be a data only service with usage limits"
I won't call this a step in the right direction, its merely a turn towards the right direction and then "oops we just dropped the phone option and the uncapped option behind" no idea if they will "turn" back and pick those up again.
As with "aggressive" pricing, I believe a definition was also in order, on neoconnect if you take 10GBs its like 599 per month, if you take that with Openweb over their VPN service its voila, just R349 per month, maybe we can argue that there is still telkom line rental but to me its not that aggressive if openweb is offering their services from a resell and neotel, now has access to sat3 is still not really lowering prices significantly as their very "timeous" CEO stated "the portion from SA to london is 6x".
Then we come back to the all wonderful phrase of "we can only offer these service in coverage areas" gr8, thats understandable but please do stop using the word "major metropolitan" centres as if you have all those areas covered, I'm in a major metropolitan centre, but I have no coverage, and then if you go and check the coverage maps, gosh they have maybe covered the most major metropolitan centre of the gauteng region to around 30%? maybe less.
