New SAIX news server

Hopefully this will sort out their poor responses on their current servers. Playing COD4 online for the past two weeks has been extremely frustrating with my pings jumping worst than a yo-yo.

but as it is being implemented as a test service, no help desk support will be available for the duration of the trial
So there is help desk support available for the other server?

Now everyone is going to use the new server and that will get slowww... :( But I don't think they will do the effort to setup a new server and then take it down after a month, so hopefully it will keep on working...

Wonder if you can add 2x news.saix.net threads and 2x news2.saix.net threads on the same download. That would be cool. :D

You cant.

You cant.

why ?- last time i used newsbinpro it pooled all enabled servers for the download, not talking ****ty grabIT here....

dial-up users
lol.....

It might be better at the start, but as with all free things that contains downloadable items it will suffer suffocation.

I haven't actually tried them out. They are 2 different news servers so you should be able to.
Maybe you can - I'm just going by the info on newshost's landing page. :)

Yeah, thanx MyBroadband, now we will surely get k@k speeds and long connect times.

I've been using SAIX2 server for a while now and it rocks! I wonder if they will charge for the server after the trial is over???

I also use Newsbin Pro and u can't download with both SAIX and SAIX2 simultaneously. Two connections max for each.

THANKS A LOT! Why not just stand in the street and hand out flyers

I was wondering why I could suddenly get a connection as soon as I opened Newsbin! Now I know! :)

heh, ok well i suppose i should have mentioned that it was from IS and Saix which i pooled....

...anyways saix should charge for the service as any paid new server do and then have proper up/down linking.
