New Subaru WRX

Yeah, I know. I'm conflicted. :(

But I just can't see myself buying manual again. 80% of my driving is drudgework.
That's what I thought before getting my current car. Was hell-bent on buying a semi-auto until I test drove it and decided that the manual will be worth it. You can't put a price on the feel of a car that makes you smile every time you get into it...

I love driving my 2.5XT manual. I think its just wrong having an auto box in a performance car.

cant wait to see on the road!!

hope it still has that awesome sound of a turbocharged boxer engine , i just love it , can hear a boxer coming miles away!

How is that auto box?
Brilliant - 8 speed and very quick!
Are the service intervals on scoobies still 12500km??
No, it's been 15 000 since january 2011

Sorry, but if it's Scoobie sound you want, you won't get it - it's nice, but very quiet. A "Sports Exhaust" is available, however
Already looks outdated...
Are those mirrors from the brz?
No Gulio, and judging by your previous remarks, you are nothing but a Troll - time for Mommy to tuck you into bed, or if you are a really big boy, maybe you can go and play with yourself outside in the sandpit.

How about organizing a road trip to Pretoria in your red devil so I can have a spin then? :D

Ok I see that it will have a 6-speed box that won't turn the top speed into a joke, as the previous one did :)

Biggest improvement for me is not the styling, but the interior. It finally looks more premium, and less Corolla...

Why would anyone want to sit inside this?
It looks horrible.
What's the point of the cheap silver plastic around the gear stick?
Looks like bits off a Toyota run x.

You're obviously trolling. Go buy a 3-series like the millions of other idiots out there...

I've driven the previous and current 3, but not a big BMW fan... Calling 3-series buyers idiots, is however a bit crazy. It is a VERY good car.

I like it, I honestly do. Would definitely be in the shortlist if I were to look around for something in that price range.

Now if only I could drive one, but some people don't wanna share their new toys!

I don't like the side profile of the car, it looks like a toyota. The wheels look small and the body higher than it is wide.

A nice test for you guys to read, whilst others can play with themselves in the sandpit.

Is that it?
Poor performance by current standards.
That claimed fuel consumption is ridiculous in today's market. What was the point of going down to a 2.0 then?

All this refinement and grown up comments is laughable. The golf went through this in 2005 already with the mark5.

So cheap car with not so cheap thrills.

The sti has to keep up with the S3 sedan, merc cla45, M235. That's some strong competition.
Price won't cut it in that segment.
If you can afford R600 000 you can afford R700 000.
Looks like it's bye bye scooby!!!
