Though the US have sanctioned DeepCool, and there doesn't seem to be any progress in the matter, though DeepCool /cough OEM parts are still being sold in the US, DeepCool has released their updated AK series.
First to market are the new AK620 and AK400 Digital Pro.
Other than having more numbers you will hardly ever look at, it does have an improved baseplate and the FT12.
It is without a doubt that these will be expensive. These are already in distribution. I don't know why they are positioning themselves this premium since they are an OEM which makes some real good competing brand value coolers.
For those who like aesthetics, go ahead. I am curious though, the AK400 Zero Dark Plus is not a bad cooler, and competes above its single tower weight class, like the Freezer 36, and Mugen 6, so I am curious by how much the new additions will improve that little heat sink. Still too expensive, probably still better value than the Hyper 212 though.
