New TV's in SA

So I just convinced my dad to buy this TV thinking it was an android TV and I can confirm that it is not. Will probably have to go for the B7200
Saying this, I cannot seem to find any differences between the two TV's other than the OS.

@Hisense ZA any info you could help us with?

Damn, that is disappointing to hear. I was hoping that it ran Android TV 8.0 / 8.1 :(

Can somebody confirm that the Hisense 55b8000UW is the same tv as the American H8F. Anybody checked it out yet. Would like to buy but need confirmation. Rather ask here then salesman instore. TIA.

Unfortunately it is not the same. We have the 55B8000UW at home but it is running on Hisense's OS. Still a very good TV but it doesn't have Android TV or the multiple leg placements like the H8F

So what would you say is the major difference.

So what would you say is the major difference, OS, nits, not so bright.
Only the OS really. It seems like the frame and ports are identical.
If Android TV isn't your top priority then I would definitely recommend

Thx, I'm mostly interested in picture quality.

Out the box the picture isn't the greatest but once you get the settings right then it's really good. I've personally got a Samsung 55N7100 and I'd say the Hisense is just as good, if not better

Meh, thats a pity then as I prefer it having Android TV instead as OS. I wilk just rather buy a LG / Samsung and add another MiBox or Ematic box.

Thanks for the confirmation though.

Hisense have two new models that come with Android OS:
50B7200UW and 58B7200UW
We have 4 Hisense TV's in the house and I can confirm that they are just as good as any Samsung or LG, if not better, and if you consider the price difference, it's a no brainer.
It's a pit they never added a 65" with Android but I think that would then take sales away from the low cost of their 65B7100UW which runs their VIDAA OS.

Anybody know who has 65/6500 in stock? makro still had it listed yesterday for 10k.

Might just pay R1000 extra and get the 7100, I do not want 6100 as it looks cheap.

The 65A6500UW was a great TV(It's now End Of Line). It had the silver frame which looked awesome.
I have the 65A6130UW(same as the 65A6100UW) and I agree that it looks a little cheap, however it's still a great TV. I think it's just the legs that make it look cheaper.
You could try phoning Masons. They are based in Benoni and they sell on Takealot.
If you don't come right, send me a PM and I'll try and help you out.
