New TV's in SA

They are still LED, not QLED or OLED.

Ah ok, my knowledge on these matters are extremely limited.

So the LED ones are the "cheap" variants, with the more expensive ones still to be released I guess.

Sumen would it be possible to add release date information as well as other model names/numbers (as they get a different model number in the states and EU). So to find a review should be a lot easier.

Regarding the release date, there's no need for that as all TV's listed in this thread are available for purchase.
Regarding the model number/names I will do that.

All re LEDs that are backlight in the Samsung range , OLED ( LG) is full back array lit.

Allright, now the pricing seems more in line with the QLED varieties entering the scene.

Very useful info, thanks. I can't seem to find reviews on this tv. Any idea what the model number is overseas?
Hi, I tried but couldn't find the overseas model, if I manage to get something I'll let you know

So I've done some research, the TV is pretty similar to last year's SJ8000/8500.
It lacks the new processor as well as the AI assistant of this years LG Super UHD.

Honestly I would wait for LG to bring out their mainstream models like the SK8000.
