Next iPhone unveiled?

I highly doubt that Apple will release an iPhone with a non-standard SIM card, smaller screen AND heavier/bigger battery than the previous version.

The whole idea behind Apple creating their own silicone is so they can produce chips like the A4 for the iPad with all the built in features they require off a chipset. The new iPhone, most probably, would be none of these things 'Chen' mentioned as the new chip would improve battery life dramatically without increasing it at all, even with a flash in the camera and a front facing one.

You sure you didn't get this article on the 1st of April rpm? Cause I seriously doubt networks would start selling micro-sim cards JUST for Apple's iPhone

The lack of bevelling raises doubts in my mind. Without it even picking it up is going to be a pain.

So you dont think the networks are going to want part of the 3G iPad action either?

I stole an apple once, and disassembled it.
Tasted pretty sweet and Fruit&Veg city was none the wiser.

Wait till you hear what I did with blackberries....

There was this one time, at band camp....

...'cos Apple isn't just the name of a tech company IT'S A FRUIT TOO!!!

erm, actually its both in one - its the name of a fruity tech company.

The iPhone has atrocious battery life, so I can believe they'd try and double it by using lower-consumption chips and increase the battery size at the same time. And we're all going to need micro-sims for the iPad, so why not push things along a bit and require it for the iPhone too. So long as AT&T support it I don't think they even care that much about the rest of the operators.

LOL
Gizmodo describes the circumstances surrounding how the next generation iPhone was lost and even names the Apple employee that lost the device. Gray Powell an Apple Software Engineer is said to have left the pre-release iPhone at Gourmet Haus Staudt, a bar in Redwood City on March 18th.
Gray Powell is history.

Why is everyone going on about the silly sim card? Is that the only new feature of the phone?
I doubt the phones ready for production yet, just one of many prototypes.

do vodacom or mtn have micro SIM's?

Aki Anastasio mentioned on the radio when reviewing the iPad that he had spoken to both and they both planned on supporting micro-SIMs.

The annoying thing for me, is I use my iPhone on the weekend and Blackberry during the week...hope there is a sim-adapter!

Pity you are not in the UK, then you could have used a SIM from Orange in your Apple or Blackberry, that would have been sweet like Lemon and might even work on flights with Mango.

is it just me or is android starting to look much better and more advanced than iphone 4.0?
the new android phones are also more appealing than the the new leaked iphone hd

the only good thing about this leaked iphone is that it has a front facing camera..for skype
..oh yeah..the round volume buttons on the sides kind of remind me of the sony ericsson t610
