Nintendo Switch sells like crazy

Okay maybe I should have said 5 games people might actually care about. Also I said the switch would be a better replacement for the DS not the Wii U :)

the guys say it's probably a better replacement for the DS then the Wii U.
Does't that imply that the Wii U is being compared to the Switch as a replacement to the DS?

Been watching a few YT reviews & the core concept & implementation is rather cool. Of course a good games library can make or break it.

Time will tell but I hope it suceeds.

I mean Zelda, some puzzle game that would be fine on Android, a party game that should've been included, two versions of shovel knight, just dance again, old neo geo games and nothing really blow your load or even really showing off the hardware.
Why would you release a console with no games that are actually showing off the hardware.
The Wii had Wii sports which showed off the console.

I'd say Fast RMX shows off the console. Also I bet you that by Xmas 1-2 Switch will be included as a bundle game.

Once Mario launches by the end of the year the Switch will explode even more than it already has.

Wii U had a lot of problems, the least of which was the name. But my kids still play Wii so I dunno what you're talking about :p

Do they also have any other consoles to play on?

I don't plan on/needing to sell this anytime soon :-)

Thank you! A man who appreciates good stuff.
Keep it for your grandkids and their grandkids.
When the little snots tell you it sucks, remind them that you used to play it for hours on end, used it as an alarm clock and never turned the thing off... and it ran on regular watch batteries for MONTHS. :D

But seriously, if my grandad kept the coolest toys he had as a kid for me to look at, he'd be the coolest guy ever.

No, but I know what's on other consoles and there isn't the same emphasis on kid friendly games. My friend has a 360 and he can't find games for his son.

I think the launch of Switch isn't bad at all. There's one potential best game of all time (it has the most perfect scores of any Metacritic game), some cool indies like Shovel Knight, I Am Setsuna, Fast RMX and Snipperclips. Then a steady stream of games over the next several months - by year end it's going to have an epic lineup for a new console.

+1 - same for PS4. Most games are not kid friendly.

I also wish publishers would do more 'instant start' games. Who else hates 6 minutes of story intro when you start a game from a new profile?

Interesting. I'd have said the opposite is true. There's more brainless games now with 0 story.

It depends what you want from a game. Some want to be engrossed in a massive tale. Some want to shoot a few bad guys.

Yoh... well the Japanese know how to do it
Most of the pop anime games are crazy with their intros.

Plenty of games are kid friendly - especially if you start looking at the Indie titles. And they'll cost a lot less than one of the Mario/Yoshi/Zelda variants...

So many crap indie titles out there unfortunately.
Zelda is not so much a kids game IMO.
