Nokia N8 and Wifi

I have installed a D-Link 3G router, connected and Adroid cellphone to it, a notebook, as well as a PC. Now I am having issues with a Nokia N8. It picks up the router, and connects, but then disconnects again. As if it prefers the mobile broadband connection to the wifi. Anyone else have any more information or experience with these phones?

Yes I do :D You will have to change the connection preference priority. Do you know how to do that? Let me know if you need a 'grandma' step by step explanation. And keep in mind - you own the cellphone with the best camera around :D

correct but I watch the pictures with friends and family when they usually come together for a barbeque on weekends. The n8 has a hdmi port. And no we don't watch on the phone's screen. I have a 55in Samsung for that. Stunning. Apart of the best camera around, the phone is somewhat outdated by 2012 standards. I got mine in 2010.

Settings -> Connectivity -> Settings -> Network destinations -> Internet. Then change priority.

Also, if you're running Belle, on the home screen drag down from the top and you should have shortcuts to enable/disable wifi and mobile data.

Many thanks! And I agree, that phone has an awesome camera, just a pity it's not mine
