Vodaworld's birthday


This coming Saturday - 26 May - is Vodaworld's 9th birthday, and we are having the biggest cellular celebration ever!

HOLY COW!!!! Is this really true??? Been waiting forever for MTN one's to arrive...with no luck. Have my name on every list there is, and like 2 months later NOTHING!!

Should i phone and book? Or is this a "on the day" kind of thing? Presume the VodaWorld at Gateway is the same place/special? Eish....if its true I will be there at like 9am on Friday morning, before they even open! Problem is I cant seem to find proof that this is true anywhere? JK8 and Zenit??? Where you find this?

Well it was in the Media the Sundays. I did see the Pamphlet.
It is 100 % true... You've to pay R999 then you get the phone on a business contract for around R200 month with itemlized billing. You've to pay R202 sim and connection that is payable to the dealer..


It's there birthday Promotion this is true.

And its not only for the JHB Vodaworld....the one in Gateway Durban aswell?

Cant seem to find a number for them anywhere, but found the Executive Head of Vodaworlds email address in JHB. Hopefully she can confirm (and hopefully i'll even get a reply)

I think the que at vodashop for the N95 is going to be a mile long on saturday! Just remember that this deal is only on a new contract so you wont be getting the phone that day as verification and approval have to take place as far as I know..? Could be wrong though, but I know its only on new contracts and not upgrades

My Girlfriend got a Samsung D900 the other day. Gave her the phone there an then....hopefully the same applies for the N95. Will be there on Friday as the special starts of Friday. If Durban doesnt have them might even be an option FLYING to JHB to pick one up! :P

It's not like that anymore... If you an excisting Contract Vodacom Contract holder it takes less than 1 hour to get approved... Sure u can fly down to JHB>>>> Then you'll get 2 flight tickets so its worth a shot. Just contact

Oh and Please don't forget any documents what so ever... (Then you'll have to fly down)
You'll Require 3 months bank statement or more, Telkom/Rates N Taxes account with proof address, cancelled cheque, Credit card :) Not sure what else

Well, youl definately be in luck on friday as most people work to bout 16h30...
Fly here...well its an option as you get 2 mango tickets free so that will save you on your next flight, hope vodaworld will have enought stock that it makes it to saterday...

Let's say about 2 hours they'll have to do an ITC on you and all admin work may take longer because of the que aswell. Please make sure to QUE up at around 6am, I did last year and sh*t it was packed luckyly I was right infront of the door.. last years promotions were better unless they've suprise when we get there.... I know with CellC etc it takes like 2 working days.. Vodacom does everything in one day.....

Yip - there is a Vodaworld walk in centre at Gateway. Hoping that they are going to be running the same special? You cant confirm can you?

Think I will drive through to Vodaworld tonight and ask them....if its true will be there at like 7am on Friday morning....even though they only open up at 9:30 *just to be sure* :P
