Im pretty sure they are called VodaWORLD customer walk in centre...but hey! Could be wrong...will wait for either the reply from the mail / go there tonight to be sure! Perhaps even pre-order one! :)

U know i hope this hold Vodaworld thing is not a marketing gimmick to create a hype for their birthday special... more hype means more customers... more customers means customers signing on for other phones if the N95 is stocked out, or alternatively,you are put on their special pre-order list and wait anything from 1 to 3 months to get the phone..... they may have advertised a 2 day special so I hope they dont have like 50 N95's only for like a line of 1000 people.... some hypes often dont turn out to be positive... hope this one does........
 
Im being patient for now... Just bought a Samsung 226BW LCD monitor last week so I gotta rejuvenate cash for the N95. Plus I also bought UEFA CL 06/07 and Final Fantasy 12 for the PS2, so I'm not sure if/when I'll have time to play with the N95 just yet...

Who knows, maybe when I'm ready to buy it'll be free on Weekender :D
 
BTW the special offer is for initial - i.e. new - contracts only.

Existing Vodacom users are - as per official Vodacomm company policy - screwed royally once more.

Its also reduced, but not as much.
 
You cant be serious. So I cant go for this cause im not in the right part of the country being Cape Town.

New low for Vodacom, no reason they cant signup someone at VodaCom Cape Town and send the phone down.
 
If I can get that offer here in Cape Town on Vodacom, ill go VodacomSP else im heading over to MTNSP, what you guys say? Im ready to get a new ProCall 120 or Talk 120.

I used my friends N95 the other day and had the phone for 3 days. Great phone.. but one thing I picked up is when you on a call I hear a bit of a whining noise on the ear piece. Any of you guys picked up this problem?

He also updated the firmware on the phone....

I have noticed a bit of hissing before the call gets connected. I updated my firmware last night, but did not check if it was still there. I will make a point to listen if the hissing is still there on my next call, and report back.
 
Great... as my friend now wants to sell the phone and I am really keen on getting it. But if its going to make that noise the whole time then its not going to work for me.
