No it wasn't, at least not the in the MS Labs in Senate House, back in 2003/2004. I used get close to 500 kilobytes/s. Thats half a meg per second. This was on a good day. Had a lot of good days . Using multi-threaded downloads of course.

I think that add might actually be acceptable Balstrome, they don't claim to sell the broadest band for R199, and they also don't advertise the local bandwidth.
