So, how does everyone here check which network they are sending calls to for billing purposes?

I found https://www.porting.co.za/PublicWebsite/

but you cant really integrate that.

Or do you all just say :- "084 = 71c" no matter what.

You contract with the Number Portability Company and then obtain the routing information from them.

On day one they generate an initial snapshot of the entire routing database for you and thereafter there are daily update with just the changes (i.e. numbers ported/returned/etc.). Both are saved into an XML file and placed on a server that you then transfer the files from using secure FTP. The NPC (www.number-portability.co.za is their public-facing web site, www.porting.co.za is their database site) will quote you on applicable pricing. Be sure to mention that you need both MNP and GNP updates as they treat these as two separate options.

For licensees involved in number portability, there is also the option to receive live updates via Web Service API. This is, however, extremely costly and is not available to people who just need routing updates; you need to be an MNP or GNP participant.

Unfortunately NDA prevents me from mentioning the pricing here, but if you phone the NPC they should be forthcoming with pricing.
