Nvidia GeForce NOW SA launch

Free ...in South Africa ?!!
Never.
Might be feasible overseas but over here they going milk this for all it's worth....
What's there to milk?
Lengthy queues and short playing times with lower end hardware?

Or are you talking about rain somehow milking this?

I still don't get what invite,is there a link for it?
You have to apply for the beta and thrn hope you receive an invite from rain to join the GFN beta. After they have invited you only then can you actually fully sign up.

Late to the party as usual and I apologise for this question - Is GFN available for all to join or are they only busy testing with selected people who have been invited?

Unfortunately it's selected invites for the beta, You could only sign up for the beta up until roughly 8 or so days ago.

To the people that's gotten their invites, how long ago did you sign up? I'm trying to see how recent the recent invites are, so that we can try to possibly estimate the invites! For example...to the people who got their invite yesterday, how long ago did you sign up for beta? Was it nine months ago?

I doubt you'll be able to figure that out, because there were no confirmation emails sent after the sign up process.
It seems like only Rain users were selected for the beta even though they mentioned non rain subscribers also joined. This is purely my own speculation too but I think they choose certain users from certain locations to see what the latency is like back to the DC. Rain might add more users to the beta test but its doubtful. It makes sense to me at least

I think we also had to mention existing hardware? Was a long time ago.

More likely than not you're right, rain has mentioned the invites are sent on a first come first serve basis, though I doubt they'd be able to perform proper beta testing without these biases such a location, Platform and what nots. I do hope , and assume that as the days pass they'll widen their scope with testing. Still I think it's important we ask these questions.

Can you play Valorant? Too much lag?
Valorant isn't supported on GFN.

Its also not recommended to play competitive shooters unless the game has nvidia reflex AND you're on the ultimate tier of GFN.
